Now that Temporary is transitioning to Open Time, we still need a regular weekly 'meeting' to review proposals and do the minimal amount of admin necessary. This took place on Tuesday evenings for the first 6 months of Temporary and was always intended to be a social gathering, though it never really was.

Let's continue the Tuesday meeting idea but reboot things slightly - the activities will be explicitly social in nature, meaning we close our laptops and share some food and drink. Each week (unless there is an already-scheduled Tuesday experiment), we'll try to find one person to tell us about something they are working on. It doesn't have to be overly structured or 'curated' but just casual.

The 'Works in Progress' title is intended to emphasise that anyone sharing their ideas should explicitly choose projects that are unfinished or still being developed; this can just be notes, research, whatever, in any field or discipline.

To foster a sense of togetherness among Temporary's participants

To provide interesting, creative people a place to gather weekly that doesn't require them to spend money like at a bar or restaurant
