There could be a table or a shelf ascribed with 'Kirjasto projekti', with the hope that it can serve as a/the Temporary library for participants in experiments and Open Day visitors.
According to self-defined lengths of time, someone can present their personal books (or library books) on the table to relate to current or speculative activity in Temporary space. The person who puts the books on the table indicates who put them there, for how long they will be present, via temporary signage for example on a sheet of paper or cardboard. They are responsible after the designated to pack up and take the books away. It is by design a temporary library.
No books should be removed from the project space for the duration of the Kirjasto projekti. Anyone who leaves books on the table does so at their own risk of damage or disappearance. Ideally all Temporary participants know how to look after other people's books.
Andrew will help facilitate the process as best as he can, whether he is in Helsinki or not. I
BUT big but, there is a need to make a shelf in Temporary space to hold books first. I pledge 50 temps to the first person to make a stable shelf that can hold a row of 8-10 books safely on the wall.
To provide a temporary library to Temporary.fi space in as decentralised manner as possible.
